We’re delighted to announce the launch of our new website www.thefamousproject.io. 

Of course, there’s only so much you can say about a new website launching, however we would like to start by thanking our partners Fooz and finish by saying - check it out! 

We know we’ve been quiet these last few months, the reality is there has been a lot going on behind the scenes, all of which will become apparent in the next few weeks. The new website is an important step in cementing publicly what our team’s mission is and hopefully offers to fans, partners and media alike, an insight into our team and what we want to achieve. 

When our Founder and Skipper Alexia Barrier first began The Famous Project CIC back in 2023, the vision was evident: to inspire future generations, challenging perceptions of what can be achieved at the highest levels of professional sailing. 

With the ambition of becoming the first all-female team in history to successfully race around the world, non-stop and unassisted, and set an all-female reference time for the iconic Jules Verne Trophy (which has never been done before) - the eight month countdown is firmly on.
