Hailing from the Bay of Islands in New Zealand, Rebecca developed a deep passion for sailing at an early age, accompanying her father on keel boats since childhood.
With numerous sailing adventures under her belt, including a 2-handed race around the North Island of New Zealand on a TP52, Rebecca has accumulated invaluable experience on the open seas.
Relocating to the UK in recent years has expanded her horizons, presenting her with exciting sailing opportunities. Rebecca has competed in multiple Caribbean 600s, initiated a Fastnet campaign, and participated in various RORC races. Additionally, she boasts two Sydney to Hobart races in her impressive sailing resume.
She most recently competed in the 2025 Admiral’s Cup finishing 2nd with the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club, and participated in the 2025 edition of The Ocean Race Europe on board Team Amaala.
